Come and Join Us in ESQ In-House Training!

What does ESQ stands for?

ESQ stands for
Emotional, Spiritual Quotient.

What are Emotional and Spiritual Quotient?

Emotional Intelligence (EI), often measured as an Emotional Intelligence Quotient (EQ), describes a concept that involves the ability, capacity, skill or (in the case of the trait EI model) a self-perceived ability, to identify, assess, and manage the emotions of one's self, of others, and of groups.
Bradberry, Travis and Greaves, Jean. (2005). The Emotional Intelligence Quick Book. New York: Simon and Schuster. (ISBN 0743273265)

Spiritual Quotient (SQ) is described as a measure that looks at a person's spiritual intelligence in the same way as intelligence quotient (IQ) looks at cognitive intelligence. It is the study in which there are 6 types of personalities: social, investigative, artistic, realist, contractor and conventional.

The authors who have already begun dishing out books by the dozen on the subject of Spiritual Quotient contend that it is only SQ that set humans apart from both machines and animals. According to them SQ is about compassion and creativity, self-awareness and self-esteem, flexibility and gratitude.

What is ESQ Leadership Training?

ESQ Leadership training is a 2 or 3 days training that uses a character development module, “The ESQ Way 165″. It was founded by Dr. Ary Ginanjar Agustian and it was proven useful since there is more than 600 000 alumni around the world.

Why it is called a “leadership training”?

Micheal H. Hart, the author of “The Most Influential Person in The World” had eventually concluded that Prophet Muhammad(peace been upon him) as the No. 1 leader on top of other great leaders such as Gautama Buddha, Vladimir Lenin, Jesus Christ and many more.

ESQ Leadership Training is about learning the experience of the most influential leader in the world history; the values, principles and actions that makes him the top leader.

What does the training bring?

ESQ Leadership Training unleash our inner(intrinsic) universal values of
honesty, responsibility, teamwork, discipline, fairness, visioner and care(7 ESQ Core Values).

The universal values cross the borders of differences may exist among us such as difference of races, superiors and subordinates between husband and wife or father and son or the CEO and executives and many more.

After 2 or 3 days of the training, there are more than 90 %(reference: in-house training feedback forms) testimonials of positive changes in individual. A changed person gives greater impact to the family, workplace, society and nation as a whole.

How to sustain what I’ve got from the training?

There are some ways that you could do:
§ Once you became an alumni of the training, you could join the training again to ‘recharge’ for free; wherever it is around the globe.
As an alumni as well, there are some activities such as monthly
§ breakfast sharing, montly “renungan 165″ and continuous “program menghafal dan menghayati 99 Asmaul Husna through Super Power Memory Way”.
§ Volunteering as an ATS (Alumni Training Support).
§ Do practise 5 Actions as stated in the ESQ Model throughout your life.

How effective is the training?

ESQ Leadership Training Malaysia has a humble beginning in 2006 by conducting 2 public trainings a year.
In 2007 through words of mouth and strong support from alumni, we have increased public training to more than 40.

Now we are working closely with big conglomerates, multinational companies and government agencies such as
Petronas, Sime Darby, UEM Group, BPR, DBKL and many more in order to promote the values of 165(one value, 6 principles and 5 actions).

Petronas gives us 4.6 score(out of 5).

Before I join the ESQ Training I did not realized I did awful things in my life especially to my families, friends and staff. I was egoist, naive and lot more of bad attitudes. ESQ shaked me and made me aware who am I, where am I coming from and where am I heading to. I feel remorse. ESQ had been the eye opener of my heart and will lead me to a better life on the way back to Allah the Almighty.
William de Weerd, Risk Manager, Rodamco Europe, Holland

ESQ 165 balances the spiritual, emotional, and intellectual aptitude and attitude in me. It fits nicely in the total training philosophy of interfacing work, life, and learning.. I am truly impressed despite my 28 years experiencing in human capital development. Its’ a mind opener.
Roslan Razak, VICE PRESIDENT 1 , SIME DARBY BUSINESS SCHOOL

I have had formal training on various kinds of learning. I had once seek religious knowledge and had continuously practiced the good deeds(amal) from the classes I attended. Then I was busy climbing the corporate ladder until I missed the pure feeling of happiness when you feel and aware that God is helping you in your every conduct-God even suppress your words so as not to be blurted out when you have the temptation to say something damaging. Three days in ESQ training gives me back the feelings. It is so serene. I realized my habitual conducts have changed abruptly. From my experience and knowledge in human resource development, ESQ Training is indeed a transformational learning; a learning experience that is capable to transform people which normally occur in real life situation such as being diagnosed with cancer or lost os someone dear
